And here is my interpretation:
I've also been playing with some Sneek Peek items such as the luscious new In-Colors! The poppies image was stamped with Black Staz-On. I used my Aqua Painter to pick up ink from the Watermelon Wonder ink pad and coloured the image. After it dried I added some more ink to some areas to created different shades of the colour. The stems and un-opened buds are done the same way using first Mint Macaron and then Cucumber Crush. Some highlights done with the Signo White Gel Pen finish it off.
The poppies part was stamped a second time on Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut after colouring. They are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals as is the whole panel placed over the strip of black cardstock. I love the effect of the image seeming to go past the edge of the cardstock. Basic Black is a perfect frame for the poppies image. The DSP piece is from the Moonlight Paper Stack - also retiring soon. And of course, the card base is Watermelon Wonder.
A trio of Frosted Sequins, each with a Basic Rhinestone adds some bling and serves as the other element in the sketch.
You still have time to order this wonderful stamp - up until June 2 and create your own masterpiece!
