I have yet another Bokeh card! Hope you are not tired of seeing them as I don't seem to be tired of doing them. Since the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week is "Anything Goes", this is a perfect fit. You can see all the entries by clicking on Watercooler Wednesday.
And here is my entry:
The colours are Mossy Meadow, So Saffron and Daffodil Delight. As always, the circles are done with Whisper White craft ink.
For the trees, the Wonderland stamp set from the 2015 Holiday Catalogue is the perfect choice. Love these trees! I used a sentiment from the Moon Lake stamp set that was in the Occasions Catalogue. Unfortunately it is no longer available to order. I try not to use retired product for projects I post on my blog, but this one was just so perfect I had to use it!
The cardstock is Whisper White for the image and Thick Whisper White for the card base. What I love about this is it is really very simple and would be so easy to do a whole set in not very much time at all.
Now, go and see what the Watercooler Artists have come up with!

Spring is just around the corner! Although, I'm sure it doesn't feel like it in those areas that are still being hit by storms. ...
No question, Gail---you are the official Bokeh Queen! Beautifully done. I love the magical look the bokeh has given to the trees. I would have used that sentiment as well. It completes the card perfectly. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteBokeh Queen indeed. Your Bokeh project is lovely Miss Gail. Love it. It does look magical as Heidi said. Also reminded me of a couple of original Star Trek episodes that used a visual effect that looks just like that. Twinkling colors and spots.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sentiment...now I really wish I had picked up that set.
Thanks for sharing your talents with the Watercooler Challenge. Hope to see you next week too!
Lovely, Gail! I love trees and this is beautiful. I have got to try the Bokeh technique again. My first couple of tries were disasters. Thanks for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges. Marsha DT @ WWC

ReplyDeletewho could tire of Bokeh cards?! Just love the colours. Yellow is a favourite colour of mine.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous, Gail. I love everything about it - the trees, the colors, the bokeh. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card. The colours are gorgeous
ReplyDeleteGail I love your entry for this week's Watercooler Challenge. Congrats on your Runner Up award. You rocked it. I love the Bokeh technique but have never actually tried it myself, so your cards are pure inspiration. This one is simply delightful and reminds me of that time in the afternoon when the dust motes are flying, the sun's settled in and there's a shimmer in the woods. Thanks so much!.
