Welcome to Watercooler Wednesday! Deborah has chosen a great colour challenge for us this week.
Now, these colours could be awesome for Christmas projects. I decided to go in a bit of a different direction.
These are little chocolate bars that I picked up on the weekend when I was in Vancouver, BC for Stampin' Up!'s OnStage Local event. It was such fun and I was able to meet face-to-face with two of the Watercooler Artists who were able to attend - Deborah and Penny. It was really great to see them in person!
The wrap around the bars is Soft Suede Designer Series Paper from the Neutrals Paper Stack. A belly band of Basic Black cardstock runs under the ovals cut from Old Olive and Whisper White cardstock, using the Layered Ovals Framelits.
I'm also giving you a bit of a Sneek Peek. The word 'enjoy' and the little Real Red flowers are from a brand new stamp set in the upcoming 2017 Occasions Catalogue. The stamp set is called So In Love.
Here's a peek of the chocolate bars:
The Mink Chocolate Cafe was only a block away from our hotel - how could we not check it out? In fact, we went there for breakfast Sunday morning. A Chocolate Cafe for breakfast? Why not! I highly recommend it.
Now, what would you do with these colours? To see what the other Watercooler Artists have done with them, visit Watercooler Wednesday. You will be inspired.

Spring is just around the corner! Although, I'm sure it doesn't feel like it in those areas that are still being hit by storms. ...

ReplyDeleteOh, Gail! Not only did I miss the OnStage but also the Mink Chocolate Cafe? At least you shared the gorgeous treats you put together. Such a good way to introduce the sneak peeks as well. Thanks for sharing.
