WWC201 - Marsha's Special Two-Week Year End Anything Goes Challenge

https://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.com/
This is our last challenge for the year 2018! Can you believe it?  Because it's a busy time of year for everyone, we make this a two-week challenge.

For this challenge, I'm sharing a really over-the-top project. Well, it's over the top for me. I made two pop-up cards for customer who has ordered Christmas cards from me for about seven years now. Two of the cards are for her granddaughters, and these are what I made.

I have a lot of photos this week, so let's get right to them! The first photo shows the outside of both cards:
I used a long-retired Bigz die for the stocking and some retired Christmas Designer Series Paper. The cuff of the stockings is cut from White Velvet Paper and the snowflakes, using the Snowfall Thinlits, are from Shimmer White cardstock. Red Dazzling Details, the bows from Santa's Sleigh Thinlits, and pinecones from Pretty Pines finish off the cardfronts.

Inside each stocking is a tag made using the Scallop Tag Topper punch and some black glitter ribbon.

And now for the big reveal! Here is what's inside:
I used so many stamp sets, dies, markers, glimmer papers and DSPs that I don't think I can remember them all. Of course I didn't write them down. Also, I had no real plan when I started and just kind of winged it as I went.

Here's some side views:
I find these challenging to photograph, so I hope you are able to see some of the detail.

And that's it till next year! Make a visit to Watercooler Wednesday to see what they rest of the design team came up with as we say goodbye to 2018.

  1. Oh my goodness, Gail, you've outdone yourself! I thought the front of the card showed off your clever artistry, but it's nothing compared to the wonderful scenes you've created inside. And they're "pop-up" to boot. You're one talented lady. Have a wonderful holiday.

  3. Holy Christmas, Gail, these cards are sensational! But they're not really cards are they? They're more like architectural works of art to remain on display always! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog and the visit. I'm happy to return the compliment and follow you and I'd love to have you viit again and follow me, too, if you'd like! 🎄Happy Holiday Hugs, Darnell
